Winslow Animal Control is always looking for hard-working ,dedicated individuals who have a passion for animals. Volunteer work is a great way to give back to the animals in our community.
Volunteers make it possible for Winslow Animal Control to take care of as many animals as possible. Volunteer works helps to further socialize the animals so that they are one step closer to getting adopted. It also helps to familiarize people who wish to pursue animal care.
Volunteers do not need to undergo any type of training or need to have a background with animal care. Simply come in and we will walk you through everything you need to know!
Volunteer work includes helping shelter staff with everyday tasks like feeding, watering, and socializing the animals. On busy days, or when we are overcrowded, volunteers will help with the cleaning of kennels and the animals food and water dishes.
A volunteer waiver must be filled out first, and no children under 14 without an adult present.
